The Palace That Outlived Its Kingdom
The Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala was built by the Manikya dynasty in 1901. The dynasty ruled Tripura for five hundred years. The palace remembers all of it, and most visitors walk past the memory without knowing it is there.

Carved into a cliff in northern Tripura are 9,999,999 stone gods. The legend says Shiva was traveling to Kashi with a crore of deities and cursed those who overslept to remain as stone forever. They are still there.
